Welcome to Harewood Lodge

Harewood Lodge is an old family home, recently renovated to offer its guests a real “home away from home” experience.  This double storey house offers spacious suites which have been luxuriously and tastefully furnished throughout.  Its location is in the quiet, up-market suburb of Nahoon Mouth, no more than a kilometre from Nahoon Beach & River. We are 15 minutes drive from the East London Airport and with easy access to & from National roads coming into or leaving the city. 
 
BEDROOMS
Harewood Lodge has 6 luxury double bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom.  All rooms include DSTV/microwave/fridges/ kettles/fans.  Additional beds can be requested for some of our suites, i.e. family/sports groups. 
 
BREAKFAST
Guests enjoy the choice of either a Continental or English Breakfast  in our dining room. Fresh Fruit Salad, pastries, muffins, home-made bread are prepared daily with a selection of cheeses, cold meats, cereals and teas, not to mention our freshly filtered coffee, of which one cup is definitely not enough. Dinner also available on request OR there is access
for a variety of nearby delivered meals, for those guests wishing to eat “at home” 
 
PRIVATE ROOF TOP
Guests are able to share this spectacular “top floor”, which boasts the most panoramic 360 degree view of the surrounding area.  Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee as the sun comes up over the Indian Ocean OR sundowners as it sets over the western horizon.  It really is unique!  
 
A complimentary glass of sherry awaits you in our lounge.  This is where you have a chance to meet with other guests or colleagues before either going out for dinner or retiring for the night.

HONESTY BAR is available downstairs in the lounge for further refreshments.
 
SELF CATERING FLAT
We also have a 2-bedroomed flat which includes one bathroom, an open plan kitchen onto the dining room/lounge, with double doors opening up onto a private patio.  Braai facilities are available.
 
Leave your car “securely parked” at the Lodge and enjoy a 10 minute walk / 500m to our local Nahoon Beach and you will understand just why your host lives here !  This is the most popular beach for swimming and surfing in East London and also plays host to National Surfing & Life Saving Championships.
